Case Study

Extension Flat Roof with Green Mineral Felt Finish

This owner of this property had built a two storey extension at the rear elevation which had a flat roof construction. At the time of installation, errors were made where the flat roof intersected with the main pitched roof which allowed rainwater to leak into the property during times of high wind and driving rainfall. This defect proved to be the eventual cause of the flat roof to fail. The roof was stripped completely, and re-installed to the correct standard using a 3 layer torch-on bituminous felt system.
